Department at a Glance
The Department established in 2005, has been a success route for thousands of brilliant minds. It offers students updated software and methodology, aiming to acquire core computer skills and equip them for innovative developments and research challenges. The Department has the MOU with the EduSkills Foundation and Soebit Cybersecurity, Netherlands, that provides opportunities for students to develop skills from global academia, certificates, internships, and job opportunities in globally owned IT& Management corporations like AWS, Cisco, Red Hat, Blue Prism, Palo Alto, and Microchip and Cybersecurity. Graduates have found careers in various industries, businesses, and governments.
The Department is enriched with four well equipped computer labs with Smartboards, Digital Boards, Projectors, Speakers, Printer and scanners.
The diligent and dedicated faculty of the Department works hard to make the students industry ready.

Dr. Gaurvi Shukla
Dr. Gaurvi Shukla is an Assistant Professor at National PG College, Lucknow. Dr. Shukla specializes in areas related to Computer Science, WSN and emerging technologies, and she is dedicated to promoting innovative learning practices in higher education. She is actively involved in organizing academic activities such as seminars, workshops, research programs, and institutional innovation initiatives. Through her teaching and academic engagements, Dr. Shukla aims to enhance students’ technical knowledge along with practical learning approach.

Mr. Rinku Raheja
Mr. Rinku Raheja is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at National P.G. College, An Autonomous NAAC accredited Grade ‘A’ College of Lucknow University, Uttar Pradesh working since July 2013. He is a Ph.D. [Pursuing] in Computer Applications from Babu Banarasi Das University, Lucknow where his research focuses on Managing security risks in Blockchain Web applications using Multi-Criteria Decision-Making (MCDM) techniques such as AHP, TOPSIS, and VIKOR. With over 15 years of experience in academia and research, his interests include Cloud computing, Blockchain security, Network Security, Cryptocurrencies, Digital Electronics, Cybersecurity, Computer Organization & Architecture and Computer Graphics. He is particularly passionate about the convergence of decentralized technologies and intelligent systems, and is currently working on Dynamic Risk Assessment in Blockchain Ecosystems. He has authored and co-authored over 20 peer-reviewed publications in respected International and National Journals and conferences. In addition to his research and teaching responsibilities, he actively contributes to the academic community. He is a Life-Member of several esteemed professional organizations, including the Computer Society of India (CSI), Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), Soft Computing Research Society (SCRS), Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), SEMS Welfare Foundation, GURUKULNET, CKNKH, and Modern Technical and Training Foundation (MTTF). He is frequently invited as a reviewer for journals of Web of Science and others in the fields of computer science, information security, and blockchain. He brings a future-focused perspective, strong technical insight, and a commitment to fostering innovation and collaboration in the digital era.

Dr. Shalini Lamba
Dr. Shalini Lamba is working as Head of Department of Computer Science, National PG College,(An Autonomous College of Lucknow University, Accredited by NAAC - A Grade , CPE accredited) for past 25 years and Placement Coordinator of the College for past 18 years. She was awarded her Ph.D. in Computer Science in 2017.She did her Master of Computer Application (MCA) in 1995 from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi. Her areas of specialization includes Big Data, Data Mining, Data Analytics, E-Commerce and many more . She authored papers published in various reputed National and International Journals, Seminars and conferences, with high impact factor and scopus. She also has patents in her expertise area from Computer Science . Dr. Shweta Sinha is an accomplished academician with over 26 years of teaching experience in Computer Science, currently serving as an Assistant Professor at National P.G.
