Rules

Strict discipline and silence are to be observed in the Library.

Each user would be provided with library card for issue of books.

Issue of books for home – Each student would be issued six books at a time for a period of one semester (July–Dec & Jan–June).

Reissue of books may be allowed maximum twice after first issue for 10 days.

Failure to return books on due date will lead to a penalty of ₹10 per month.

A ‘No Dues Certificate’ must be obtained from the Librarian when leaving the college.

Dictionaries, encyclopedias, etc., will not be issued.

Newly purchased books will not be issued for at least one month but displayed separately.

Reference books may be issued for home use only before holidays and must be returned next working day.

If a book is lost, the user must replace it or pay three times its price.

Magazines and periodicals may be issued for one week only.

Books must be returned one week before short vacations and 15 days before long vacations.

Each student gets one library card and must provide a passport-size photograph.

Students must maintain a book review notebook. Books are issued/returned only during library periods.
